Mike - What front kits are offered for the 64-72? I don't see any on the site. Looks like its rear only? Also - what are the differences between the two tail kits for a '67 - is it just the lense?

Front kits were just released so they are not on the site yet. Will try to get that done hopefully by the weekend. Front kits available for 67-70 Chevelles, so full kits are only available right now for 67-70.

On the '67, I assume you are referring to the two non-sequential setups? One comes with the lense and the other is just the board. The one with the lense is a better product of the two. The best is the sequentials if you can afford them. The engineering in those lights is first class.

http://musclerodzstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=520

if its 20% off I'll probably go with the reverse light kit instead.

So would the 15% be off the rear 68 ones that are under $100 or only the $200 ones?

Mike - I think you left out some words here - is there or is there not a front kit for a '67?
Also - I only see two kits for the '67 tail light, one with a lens and one without. And can you clarify what is better about the one with the lens?

Sale is on the sequentials kits only. Rear kits list for $199, on sale for $169. If you buy the front and rear kits together, list is $298, on sale for $238, and you get the flasher units for free which is a $100 savings total. Yes there is a front kits available for 67-70 Chevelles.

The '67 kit on sale is this one http://musclerodzstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=264 The '67 light that includes the lense is a better fitting and designed product. THe actual board quality may not be different, but the overall product I feel is better. And I know it comes with a lifetime warranty from a large company that will be around a long time to honor it.

The need for the electronic flashers is the LED's have little amperage draw and a mechanic flasher requires a load to operate. When you remove the load, the mechanical flasher won't flash correctly or at all thinking a bad bulb is in place. With the electronic flasher, it flashes when voltage is ran through it, allowing the flashers to work properly with LED's in place.

Mike - When you said the 'lens' model fits better did you mean the lens or the board? I can't imaging an aftermarket lens fitting better than my original lens in stock OEM trim & tail buckets. What is the limited warranty cover for the board only model?

I speaking to the fit between the two products, not the original lense. Warranty covers manufacturing defect only. BTW, making sure you understand the one on sale is the high dollar sets. So far I have had only a couple returns in the hundreds I have sold and they were exchanged without any issues.

How much of the factory harness is replaced? I talked with one gent who had them on a 68 Camaro and he stated that the kit he bought had the harness all the way to the rear connector. I believe that it was American Autowire that made the kit. Is this similiar?

Is there any update on getting the front LED kits on the site? I am interested and would like to see a pic and prices for the 1970 front and rear kit. Also is there a backup light incorporated with the tail light?

Thanks

They do not sell the full rear harnesses anymore, only the pigtail connectors.

I will see about pics for the front led's. Backup light is not a part of the led board. Price for the full kit for a '70 was posted a few posts back.
