now that i have resolved my fuel distribution problem in the intake, i am moving on to the jetting of the carb. the 750HP cam square with 73 jets. the plugs were pure white with the 73s so i went to 76. this produced a white/grey apperance after a 5 mile road trip, 3000 rpm. this resolved the surge. still looking for the tan color i went to 78 square, same road trip, shade darker grey and white. my thoughts at this point are that somthing other than the jets need to be addressed. i need some help here. do i change the 3.5 power valves to 4.5. smaller air bleed jets? or do i just keep jetting up till i get the tan color? thanks Dave

Hook up a vaccum guage (port or maniford)and put the car in drive,(chock the tires) take the reading of the guage, then divide it by 2 and add .5. This will tell you what size power valve you need to install. I was having the same problem, running rich did this and she has the nice brown plugs that you want.
