Still in the parts gathering mode.

'66 SBC, 327ci

I need a new harmonic balancer, nothing special, stock replacement will do. My old one measured at 6.25"...my local supplier only has 6.1" (which is extemely expensive) and 6.75".

I think I am OK for the 6.75"...anybody have any comments?

You can put any older SB one you want on it!!! AND FWIW, even a 348/409 "W" motor damper will work.... A 409 damper should be identical to the '67 350SS motor's one..

PS., drag cars mostly use the smallest one they can find and road race cars the biggest!!

And some early 265 and 283 motors just ran hubs with bolt-on pulleys too...
