I have filled out a spec sheet for a torque converter twice for one company. One was about 6 months ago and the other was last Sunday. They claim to respond within three days but I have not heard anything. Is this the norm for most of them or just the one I've tried?

Marty,
I have found it best to make a phone call and talk to someone in person. I think a lot of the smaller companies are probably overwhelmed with e-mails and just do not have the manpower to look at all of them. That is certainly not an excuse, just my feelings as to what is happening. Personally, I would rather they did not even have an e-mail address if they are not going to respond to it. Same with "voice mail" ... I would rather not get any answer at all than leave a message that will not get answered.
