How much street driving will you be doing and what is your tire size? Will you be running slicks at the track? If its mostly street, something along the lines of the TCI 11" Break a Way or the B&M Holeshot 2400 would work. If its just street, a TCI or B&M 12" would work. I listed these because they are in the Summit and Jegs cats at good prices. Any good brand in this range would run well.

No track time. Street only.

I'd go with the Holeshot 2400 especially for the street use.

Some say they are not so great, but I used one for 2 seasons ran 13.70's down to 12.60's in My Monte and it worked perfectly, sold it used and it is still going strong.

Should last a long time on the street. May not be able to chirp the tires when hitting second, but it will really pull when you mash the pedal and your motor hits 3000 RPM in a flash

Why do you say it won't chirp hitting second? I have a shift kit now in my th350( it chirps) and was thinking about the 2400 but the chirp is good stuff, Would I lose it?

I certainly wouldn't worry about losing a "chirp" on an upshift..its all in road condtions, tire type, how firm the tranny shifts, etc.
A higher stall will cushion the shift at or below the the flash rpm.
Sometimes on 1-2 shift, depending on how I'm driving, either there is no chirp (shifting @ 5500) or it goes sideways and lights the tires (shifting @ 4000-4400) or light throttle upshift at 3000-3500,it will just chirp.
Below 3K,you don't even really notice it shift, just a little nudge, and my TH400 has NO kit.
