Hello everyone, I'm new to the board and impressed by the knowledge here. I'm wanting to increase my TQ converter stall on my street/strip vehicle in my sig. This is a 700R4 with the lockup feature for the highway. My existing converter is a 12" 2400flash and shifting at 6000 rpm the rpm's drop (shift extension) to 4100,(not good for ET's)I have some questions to help me decide my next converter.
1)What do you think of TCI converters?
2)I'm considering a 10" which should flash to 3200 rpm and give a SE to 4800-5000rpm, what et gain would I expect from this?

Thanks!

I have a TCI #243100 behind a mild 350. I would have a hard time recommending it to anybody. Just not impressed with it.

Alot of people like TCI but personally will never purchase a product from them again. Got a bad transbrake valve body from them that was responsible for blowing up my racing trans that had just been built. One of those things where 1 out of a 1000 people may have issues! Would recommend ATI, Coan, JW to name 3 but there are others that are just as good. Would call one of these companies and have them build one to match your application! Goodluck! :D
