Why did you buy it?
I usually stick to Camaros, but the guy was anxious to sell. Bought it, did a little research, found out kinda rare. Cannot keep at this time. Will try to run classifieds (newby) Thanx

What's rare about it?

It's fairly rare I would imagine being a convertible, especially in 72

4853 of something 35 years old I would consider rare. I've seen only a few others (Carlisle, e-bay,ect..) since I got it in June. But thanx for the positive outlook Tony!

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I just never heard a 72 malibu convertible being considered rare. Sure there are a lot less than hardtops, but that's every year, although 72 was a lower number than previous years back to 67. A few on eBay for sale now

and these have sold (or didn't meet reserve) recently

Does it have huge holes in the frame around the steering box? Does it have the 15x7 71-72 SS wheels on it?
