I was wondering if there was any kits or something out there that would help me in converting my 2 bolt 355 into a four bolt.

At the time I was going cheap with a complete engine that was laying around and used the stock cast rods and crank. Now im stepping up to a 4140 Eagle crank and 4340 Eagle h-beam rods, and want to make the block into a 4 bolt. It has only about 5k miles on the motor, so starting completly over doesnt make sense. Im adding some AFR 210 heads and want the bottom end to live at higher RPM's.

The block is bored .030 over with Speed Pro forged pistons, Stock heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, Proformer RPM Intake, 650 Holley, MSD ignition, Pete Jackson Gear drive(it gets annoying), 234/244 blue racer cam, Hooker super comp 1 3/4 headers and 2 1/2 flowmaster kit. THANKS!

I sent you a pic of a block that we installed splayed center caps on. We did about 80 of the 010 blocks this year for engine builders and machine shops all over the U.S. and Canada.

Couple of things.
First, you can buy the caps no problem but they will need to be installed, line bored & honed to size preferably by a reputable performance oriented shop.

Second, on your heads the 210 is way too big for your 355 unless you are planning a solid roller & a lot of RPM ;)
The 195 or even the 180 will work a lot better for a milder 355 with a hyd cam & 6000-6500

If you email me I can probably save you a few dollars on the AFR's ;)

Thanks for all the help, And I do plan on bracket racing thats why I was going to go with the AFR 210's and of course a different cam. There is an awesome machine shop called DG machine that will do the work whenever I get around to pulling the motor. Thanks again
