Got my "invite" in the mail today for the NW ACES Regional Chevelle show. My problem is it is roughly 230 miles from my house. My Chevelle Does not like pump gas(11+ to 1 compression). At 12 mpg I can't make the trip without stopping for gas. Do I trailer my car there and then drive it around or are there locations near I-5(Salem OR to Longview WA) that I can get either Aviation fuel or race fuel (in a can http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif) so I can hotrod up there? Plus what about hotel parking, is it secure enough to be able to sleep? ANy input is greatly appreciated....

If theres a place you get race gas near your house fill up then put an extra 5-10 gallons of 110 in a gas can in the trunk.You can mix that stuff with 93 and still have more then enough octane.I have 11.25 to one.I mix 6 gallons of 110 to 14 gallons of 93.It works out to over 100 octane
