RE-INSTALLING MY GAS TANK RIGHT NOW. I can't find a pic and I don't remember . Do the straps hook(in the rear near the bumper) facing to the front or the rear ?? I put them the way I thought I remembered the old ones were but the hole for the bolt isn't even close. The slot is two layers thick in the support where the strap hooks in. Does the strap go between the layers or on top of both ??

dont you have the assembly manual, shows nice clear pictures in it.

I finally got it all straight. all aftermarket stuff. I just couldn't get it it all to work.Just a typical aftermarket tweeking was needed.( and a beer ! )
