Don't Know If This Is The Right Place To Ask This But I Am Sure Someone Will Tell Me If It Isn't. I Need To Know If Anybody Has Put Sport Mirrors On Both Sides Of A 72 Chevelle Convertible. I Would Like For The Driver's Side To Be Remote. I Don't Think Anybody Reproduces Originals. Does Anybody Know Of Any Others That Would Work Such As Firebird Or Camaro From 70-81?
Tried The Chrome Reproductions From Ausley's But They Would Not Work. I Even Tried Using Both Plastic Mounts But They Still Would Not Work. Any Info. Or Ideas Would Be Much Appreciated. I Would Really Like To Have Them Body Colored.

I'm pretty sure our sponsor sells a reproduction drivers side remote sport mirrror, but not a passenger side. No other style sport mirrors will fit correctly without some sort of modifications to the base.

There is a guy on Ebay that sells a set of sport mirrors that would fit your Chevelle. Although not original or exactly correct, I think you would like them.

He usually sell them for around $185 a set, although I looked and did not see any for sale just now.

Welcome John - 72 Convertibles are right up my alley - check out the post we skylra and I have going in the convertible section. My vert only has a sport mirror on the drivers side - thats the only way it came in 72. Adding a mirror would be a nice safety addition.

what about in 71 where sport mirrors an option ? Joel :confused:
