To the gurus of the metal. I just finished with POR15 on my cross braces before I put in the floor pans. I used gloss black. It turned out better than I would have expected. The question and some discussion, This paint is so hard and glossy why would you not spray it on and use it for your finish paint. It seems to be magic. It covers and encapsiulates the rust forever, so why not use it? This is the question to be answered. Thanks, Roland in NY

My own opinion of POR and others is that they are gimmick products.
Cover up rust:confused: I dont think so, it needs to be removed not covered up

I concur. All those products do is cover it, it's still there and will come back eventually.

ALL Rust WILL COME BACK, keep in garaged and dry it will last a long time.

i heard it's not uv safe . it will chalk up in the sun!
