hi just wondering if anybody have tried to put a super charger on a 454 big block on a 71 chevelle with a 2" induction hood. the brand is weind low clearence (174)

i was told not to waste my time with the lil blower on the big block but why do they sell it if it wont produce lets say 7lbs of boost? that all i need

id liek to hear frmo more people who are using the 174 or 177 on a 454 or 496 weekend car
