My hood sticks up a inch or so in the rear but the problem is that the hood cant go down farther because the windsheild wipers hit it and knocks the linkage off. The fenders lines are aligned with the door lines and the doors are in the factory location. The hood and one of the fenders are factory original also. The other fender is off another car but is a 70 GM fender. Why would the hood stick up like this in the rear? Could the corners be bent up or something? Ill try and get pictures of what Im talking about soon, like tomorrow.
Thanks

did you set the hood in by itself or with the hinges on, it could be messed up hinges.

It's still out of adjustment via the hinges. Try raising the back of the hood by pivoting the hinge on the front bolt. Next, bring the hood slightly forward maintaining the hood to fender gaps (A paint stick works wonders here). Next, lower the back of the hood by pivoting the REAR hinge bolt and lifting the hood. This will lower the rear of the hood and increase the spacing between the wiper arms and back of the hood.
