NO Other damage was done, it must have bent when we had them overtightened when we installed the cam a few months ago, than from the daily driving you can see all the cracks from stress, and this week it snapped, but the bottom ended up resting inside hte lifter valley, and hte bottom of the pushrod was resting on the valley bottom also, so no damage was done to the cam or lifter.

Went ot hte local autozone, got a new standard 350 pushrod for $1.50, put her in, bolted everything back up, runs like a champ, never ran this good before.

Dont worry we will eventually replace all the pushrods with a nice set once we do the 383 shortblock, but its a nice temporary fix that will get me to school tommorrow smile.gif

When you change that oil, cut the filter open and check for metal too. You just never know.

If you can pice that pushrod together and roughly check its overall length against a straight one that might give you an indication if there is any metal missing.

its pieces together perfect, anything missing is extremely tiny and most likely is in hte filter.
