I was recently informed that the 4 core radiator's had different top plates. That there was an extra Tab welded onto the plate to accomidate the mounting pads of the large radiator.

I don't believe these are being offered as reproduction with only original left to bid on.

I looked at E-bay completed auctions but couldn't find any.

So the question arises, what are these worth in undented or undinged condition perhaps needing repaint?

Hinshaw's are about $69 and look good-seen them go for as much as $400 for a rusty one on ebay-I will see if I have any pictures(daughter has my camera-she's away at school)-I have a NOS one hanging up in my tool room-gm sticker still on it-not for sale-do a search here on this site-lots of info-keep on cruising-Dave.

Don't forget about the core support. In 1970 if you got heavy duty cooling then there was an extra tab welded into the drivers' corner of the radiator support. It made the extra room for the 4 core radiator. My Elcamino has factory HDC and has both the top plate you are talking about and the tab welded to the core support and the original 4 speed XJ radiator. Otherwise without those tabs the radiator will not fit correctly.
