Has anyone order from SSM ?i have been trying to get a set of lifter bars for my 70 chevelle i
can't find any,i called JEGS AND SUMMIT and had no luck
i called the # on there web page and it say that they changed or has be disconnected :mad:
JEG has there bars but i want SSM

No difference between Jegs and SSM's

The guy at Jegs said the same thing??oh ya he also said that jegs bars were about $185.00
and the SSM were about $165.00
go for the real thing and a better price or pay more for a nock off????
i'll wait for the real deal ;)

I tried to contact SSM for days. No luck...Everyone here said the Jegs versions are identical. I got the jegs set pulled off the "jegster" sticker and they went on great. Hopefully I will get the car up and going soon so I can post the effects. Skip

I heard SSM couldn't keep up with the demand and licenced Jegs to make them.

The price increase is Jegs trying to make back the purchase of the manufacturing rights,
and/or maybe pad the profit. And it would explain why you can't get them from Summit.

I can't vouch for the quality of either compared to the other.
