Hey everyone, I figured this was the best place to make my first post. I have been a 66 Chevelle fan since I had one in high school. I have been playing with my blown 85 Monte SS for the last 10 years or so and missing the old iron. I decided to start "project family truckster" so I can include my family in my hobby since the roll cage in the Monte makes outings a little tough. I found a pretty solid 1966 Chevelle Malibu wagon in Spokane and bought it. Now I am in the gut it and gather parts mode. I have a 454 in the machine shop getting .030 SRP pistons and Eagle H beams. I have an Offy high rise dual quad set up for it and plan to save up for a TKO600 5 speed manual trans for next year. This will be a pro touring style build up and a lot of fun. I have a lot of work ahead of me! If anyone knows of good places to get 66 wagon parts I am all ears!
Image didn't seem to show up so here's a link to my Wagon pics.. She's definitely a project..

Russ,
Welcome, Looks like your project is well on it's way. Car looks to be solid and has a lot of potentional. Since you are close in my area you have All American Classics in your back yard in Vancouver and I use Gold Eagle Classic for most of my parts I need for my Chevelle. I have worked with them for the last twenty years and they have always come through. You might also want to check out the Chevelle and El Camino Club of Oregon. I have a link in my signature. Keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks guys! I will definitely check out the Chevelle show in Canby this year. I have been thinking about going for years but had not made it yet. I doubt the wagon will be rolling by then though due to lack of funding. I will check out all american to see what they have for wagons since I need some trim parts.
