I need some guidance in deciding on a rear frame clip for my '70. I am leaning towards the S&W kit because it includes fully welded 2x3" frame rails, coil overs, and ladder bars (or 4 link kit). Does anyone know how streetable 2x3" frame rails are with an 8 pt. roll cage? Alston has a 2x4" frame rail kit for considerably more money....

Also, this car is intended to be a very streetable low 12 second car. Should I opt for a 4 link or ladder bars? Thanks in advance.

I have only done one back half car. It was my first attempt at a job that big on my now long gone 69. I used Chris Alston Chassieworks ladder bar kit with a 8 point cage. I found that they had great instuctions that made sense to the average guy working at home. Take your time and ask questions. I was told that ladder bars are easier to maintain for street/strip cars, but that is all I ever had.

Im looking into this for an 1980 Malibu and I have heard that S&W kit is good and has easy to read instructions too. Some said thiers even came with a video.
