I'm replacing the intake gaskets on my 69 396/325 with stock manifold. Do you put any kind of sealer on the bolts for oil leaks? If so what kind of sealer. Thanks

I use Permatex 2A, non-hardening sealer.

Not necessary on an intake. You might be thinking of head bolts :D . Put some motor oil or assembly lube on the bolts to torque them down to spec.

Some of the intake bolts will seep oil from the crankcase pressure. Not all are blind holes. I seal them all, no question that way. 2A or Teflon paste. Just make sure EVERYTHING is CLEAN and DRY prior to assembly.

Yup, I teflon them all. My heads have threads exposed to the cam galley ( where the exhaust crossover would ordinarily be), and I think they my go into the water jackets, but unsure.

Yes, some, but not all BBC intake bolts are exposed to oil, none water. I seal-em all.
