Once the door latches are latched, how much wiggle room is OK where the striker goes? After I close my drivers door it will still move in and out some. Is this normal until rubber bumpers and weatherstipping is installed? This striker is the old style with rubber in it and does have some play. The passenger door is latching a little better but the strker keeps moving in after door is closed a few times. Should I replace both latches and strikers? Or just keep adjusting? Thanks for any help.

Put the bumpers and w/strip on then adjust. Im waiting till I get mine painted to put the weatherstrip in, the bumpers are on to keep stuff from getting scratched and the doors have just a little play in them. That will probably go away when the weatherstrip is in. Also I did test fit the weatherstrips to make sure I didnt have a big issue.

Remember too that nothing will be final until the doors and body are completely together.....EVERYTHING is a factor when trying to make it perfect.
