I cant seem to find pre made pieces to box my lower control arms. I know that they are formed to go around the attaching bolts for the sway bar. Can I weld them in before I get my sway bar or are they not exact enough for bolt placement?

Thanks, I'll send you a P.M later tonight or tomorrow. I also need a couple other parts. BTW, I spend quite a bit of time at your sight and it has been extremely helpful! Thanks again! -MATT

:sad:wait untill you have the sway bar get it on a lift and line it all up before you weld:hurray: you can get those insert at opg:noway: or you can buy the whole arm with the insert already in:yes:or find an original eguipment:thumbsup: i ve done all three myself the latter is always the best, the middle one is the most costly, and the first is the cheapest and the trickest, good luck any decision is the right one, :beers:

I guess I'm a little confused. Are you saying to bolt the arms and bar to my car then tack in the pieces to box? Or for laying out the holes? Thanks.

dale has several pic posted of original boxed arms just copy his , the two mounting bolts travel thought the insets, or at least for the aftermarket, you need to line this up just right before you drill holes in your control arms i tried to do this half ass once long time ago, ended up doing it again, school of hard knocks is just that hard , nowaday the aftermarket can fix you up with a click from your mouse,,,,, just so you know they did box the top arms too,, although aftermaket adjustable upper arms are awsome, far susperior,,, to original gl sway bar in the rear is the only way to go
