Pictures suck, taken with my cel phone. Already has a 2bbl SBC / th350 of unknown origins. No transfer case, so 2WD for now. A Ford rearend, smaller than a 9" (I think), but looks similar. Original front drive axle with the "big ball" steering instead of a conventional spindle. Obviously no front drive shaft. The body is in great condition, amazingly, I can not find a single area with rust damage, in, on, over or under. Chrome is in great shape and all present including windshield and headlight visors. Broken window in passenger door, but flat laminated glass, easily replaced on the cheap.

Front seats remind me of something out of a '67 Cougar, while the back seat is a funky little jump seat looking thing.

I don't expect much of it right away. Maybe a little whompin', but primarily getting it into shape for my daughter when she turns 16 next October. She's the one that brought it to my mom's attention, who then told me about it, as it is owned by a business/personal acquaintance of mine that is moving to Texas December 10th. They said if I'm interested, that we could work something out, even if the cash wasn't readily available.

Makes my daughter "A KEEPER". Glad I didn't raise a Lexus wanting PRIMADONNA.

If the body is solid, I would do it. You don't see too many of those around...at least not around where I am. That would be a pretty cool ride when it's all done.

It's probably worth $2K, just to be able to say, "Check out my WOODY"

come on guys, nobody has an opinion on this one?

I'll settle for "it's a rip off" or "I'd drive it if it's free"

Looks pretty cool, I think once you got the 4wd operational it would be easily worth 4k+, but I'm no expert.

I restored one....... its a money pit !! I'm not even sure your daughter can steer it the way it is
by the time you install front & rear matching axles a transfer box & power steering .....

I like the body style :D but you'd be farther ahead getting somthing from the late 60's with all the parts all ready assembled ........ My 2 cts

There is a 55 willys pickup that runs and drives in a town 45 miles from here, I think the guy is only asking $2K for it.
