I have access to the factory front disk brakes off of a 67 elky. Can i use them to replace the front drum brakes on my 71 Malibu?

yes, but they (67-68dual piston caliper) are more expensive and prone to leakage from all the info i've heard.
the 67elky may have had a brake transplant with the newer 69-72 single piston caliper and that would be better.

I have calipers and rotors off my '71 that you can have if you're interested. Where are you located? The bleeder screws were chewed up by the previous owner, so you'll need to wrestle with them to get new ones in there, but otherwise they worked just fine and the rotors are in good shape with only normal wear. Send me a pm if you want them. I was just going to toss them but would rather see someone else be able to use them if possible.

find someone who needs those 67-68 calipers & disc setup for an original rebuild..
they are too expensive to retro on to any thing else other then a correct rebuild !!

the calipers need to be sleeved with S.S. bore liners to cure the problematic leak problems they have stock .. BIG $$$$ also the rotors are special an demand BIG $$$ to replace
leave them to people who have to spend the money ;)

sure its cool to say you've got 4 piston brakes :D but they don't work any better then the single piston ones stock ....... save your money for other things
