i have a pair of gm 990 cylinder heads with manley triple springs. they measure o.d 1.677
i.d. .635 im no longer going to use these spring because im going with a smaller cam. i have a set of lunati springs that im going to use and they measure o.d. 1.550 i.d. .746 now since the heads have been machined to accomadate the larger valve srings do i need to get the sring cups to fit the smaller valvesprings so they dont jump around all over the place? im worried about the gap between the bottom of the valve sring to the outside machined surface of the valvesring pocket. any help would be appreciated. thanks
