Anybody got pics of their electric pumps mounting, return style regulator mounting, etc..
Or even a description of where you have it, etc..
I want a clean install with good function.
I will be using steel line not braided hose.
Any suggestions for the best way to plumb this.
Looks like I need some 3/8 NPT to 1/4" inverted flare fittings to plumb from the pump to hard line.
Best place I see to mount the pump is on the pass frame rail near rear seat area, close to the muffler area.
It is as close as I can get to the tank and stay below the tank level...
maybe mount a filter above the tank on the trunk pan...
Then mount the regulator on intake or pass fender well.
Thanks in advance.

Mine is up against the trunk. Between it and the rear pumpkin. Pump is on the drivers side of the chunk, and the filter is on the passenger side. It's tight up in there, but no melted stuff yet. For the pump, I have a flat plate that "drops" the mounting points to a more suitable spot. The lowest point of the electronic pump is still flush with the gas tank belly. I even used some rubber grommets for noise cancelation.
Sorry, no digital pictures of that install. It was a while ago.

Sorry, no digital pictures of that install. It was a while ago. Mine is the same as Mike's...clean install, can't see it, but you can hear it slightly. The bracket I ended up using is very similar to this prototype, but a little longer, and narrower. This one didn't give me enough seperation between the pump and filter, but it should give you a pretty good idea. I ended up with the pump outlet and filter inlet straight across from each other to omit the two 90* bends. I also ran mine to the passenger side for both the pump and filter. Hope this helps...
The Mallory Comp 140 is an outstanding unit that is very quiet!

Those 90's look pretty restrictive.Do you know if the pump cavitates?

My Camaro is done like BB_Mikes' and My EC is like you were saying. If running tail pipes, you need to be careful because it's easy to put the pump in the way of the tail pipe. I'm going to change the EC to something else. Not sure what yet. Have to get the 3" stuff in first. I'm looking at the Aeromotive stuff.
11203 18psi or 11101 60psi. With their filters, you can thread them straight into the pump in & out. So only one thing to mount. Look at their site for the different filters. They have a coarser one for the inlet. I'll probably get the 11203 and test it on my Camaro first. Need to see if it's too small a pump or Vortec cylinder head (383). I think it may be big enough for the BB with big lines. You might try -10 steel. Cost a little more. But then you at least know what isn't the problem. Do a search on Chris_69_SS. He had some good pictures of his Aeromotive setup. He had an internally sumped stock tank though. Had a cutout made to fit the pump back on the side of the tank. Very clean. He'd probably mail them if the post has expired.
