Are 77 El camino Brake rotor and calipers the same as a 70-77 camaro. In '78 GM may have changed the bearings on the rotors. But I have a 77 El Camino that I use for parts and I'm working on putting a straight axle (1952 chevy truck) on my 55 chevy and the disk brake caliper mounting brackets that I need to purchase specify 70-77 camaro rotors and calipers. Want to use the rotors and calipers off the elki if they would work. thanxs david

yup- same. not that it matters for your application, but they use the same spindle.
