Like the title says, im debating on wether to make a rear end or just a gear swap. i have a gm 10 bolt with 2.69 rear gears. im wanting to make a change to a 3.73 gear with a posi. i'm thinking about going with a pair of summits gears and not sure about a posi. im wanting to do this cheap as possible but would also like a dana or 12 bolt rear end. any ideas on what would be better?

If you have the money I would say upgrade to a 9" or dana or 12 bolt rearend, you will be money ahead. Build it once and no worries about breaking it.
