I removed the front coils from my 71 chevelle and they measure 16 - 3/4" and I removed the front suspension from a donor frame that measured the same. I bought new BB springs from Ground Up and they are 15 - 1/4" or 1" smaller. The dimension of the coil looks the same so I'm confused on why the heighst are different. Can anyone help?
