Seen a rerun of the SuperCharger install on his Chevelle and made me think of the big guy.

Anyone know how is he?

Doin' great, Wally! Thanks for thinking of me. Travel has finally slowed down, and I've actually been home for two weeks in a row!!! Like Mike said, got one issue (Sept/Oct) in the mail now, and working on the next. With a little luck, it shold be mostly written by Thanksgiving and ready to go on press the week after. Then the plan is to actually work on my poor, neglected Chevelles for a little while. I've got a '67 SS convert with the engine loose and the cherry picker poised... Been that way, unfortunately, since March. It'll get that new bullet soon's I kick the next issue out the door. Be nice to get re-acquainted with the toolbox again.

BTW, thanks for watching the reruns of HPTV. I've been told the old shows are rating better than the new ones. Haven't had much chance to catch either one lately...

Chuck, glad to see you are doing well. Yes, the reruns are still on and I'm still watching and recording them. Can't wait to see the next show either, and I think Joe misses you...I know we do. Take care and don't be a stranger. ;)

Chuck glad to hear you are well. I met you several years back at the Can-Am club meet and I had my son with me. He was 7 at the time and you were gracious enough to spend a few minutes talking with him and showing him around your Silver w/ black stripes Grocery Getter. There were others waiting to say hello but you gave your time to him anyway, and then posed for a picture with the two of us. He got a big kick out of it the next time I turned on the TV and there you were. Good luck in your endeavors!

Chuck, I just don't how you managed to get through what you went through. I'm still having a hard time. I think about the little guy every day. I sold my 71 recently because it was supposed to be our car, the one that grandfather and grandson were going to do together when he got older. It was just too painful to keep it. It was going to be his one day.

I still love the hobby, and I do hope to take on another project again in the near future. Right now, I'm just undecided on what that project will be. It might be a 70 Chevelle, maybe a truck, maybe a 73 or 74 Challenger. I just don't know at the moment.

The road back for my family and me has been hard, so I know first hand how difficult it was for you. When I think back on what you went through, and knowing how bad it was for you, I don't know how you managed to do it. We're still struggling to recover.

Thanks to everyone for y'all's kind thoughts and wishes. Yes, we've been through some tough times, but the Lord has blessed us each and every day. And on this Thanksgiving day I can only bow my head and give thanks for the family, friends, and other loved ones who have been so supportive and caring. Y'all don't know how much the ACES family and the Chevelle community means to LaRae and me. I wish each and every one of y'all a safe holiday spent in the company of loved ones.

Randy, please know that you are in my prayers daily asking for comfort and healing from your loss. Our Grandson, Christopher, makes it a little easier to face each day. He's the spittin' image of Cam and every day his behavior seems a little more like his Daddy's. Our biggest blessing this Thanksgiving is that we get to pick him up this evening and keep him all through the weekend until Sunday evening. Just having him around makes LaRae and me feel alive again...

As for the blown '69, yep, it has another owner, and Dave is giving it all the TLC it deserves and that I never could find the time for. Dave, I hope you can bring it to Chevell-abration this June so I can see it in person again!

Bill - Why ain't you at the Turkey run? I figured you and Mike (Marooned) wouldn't need much of an excuse to hang out together. Hope it's warmer in Daytona than it is here. Otherwise the top on that convert may have to stay up!
