I have recently purchased a 1968 Chevelle Concours , it is a 2 door hardtop. The motor is a 307 (for now) and the powerglide was replaced with a turbo 350. I am tring to find out production data and just general info on this Chevelle , but really have not found much , can anybody help me out ?

Thanks

The 1968 "Concours" was an option package that could be added to a Malibu coupe, Malibu 4-door sedan, or Malibu 4-door Sport Sedan. Engine choices ranged from the 230 L6 up through the 325hp L79 327. 1968 Concours V8 Coupe production was 7,457.

In 1969 a similar Concours option package was available, but only on the 4-door Malibu sport sedan model.

I had a '68 Concours 2-door but sold it to get my 70 SS. Mine had 48K original miles, 307 3 on the tree, all-origiinal interior, 1 repaint.
The concours had a different interior, I believe borrowed from a Skylark. I heard that may be due to a GM strike at that time.
Here are a few pics of my old Concours. I can find some better pics. If you want to see more please PM me.

I too have an aforementioned 2 dr Concours Coupe, Butternut Yellow 327, Powerglide. Built in Fremont. 8,307 built. The interior is borrowed from 68 Buick Skylark GS 400. Long Armrests and trim backplates (same as in 68 Caprice) It was the luxury line of Chevelle, Is the emblem on the steering wheel insert a square with tan and black sides and a fleur de lis above it? There were also special Concours inserts in the wheel covers, instead of the red white and blue circle around a silver bow tie, they were black with the same insignia that is on the wheel insert. Mine also has the rare Concours trim plate between the brake light bezels. E-mail me with any questions, Concours@mindspring.com

There was also a finned aluminum "grille" between the lail lights. I wish I grabbed the ones from the junkyards back in the day. It looked pretty good on the car.
