Can anyone tell me or provide photos of where the speedometer cable on a 1969 Chevelle is suppose to go through the firewall at. The cable on the chevelle I purchased some time back goes through an opening just below the throttle cable. I don't think that this is the correct routing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it goes thru the large hole under the sterring column.this is a 2 inch+ hole,only one like iy on the firewall.then you need the large speedo cable rubber seal to fill the hole. greg
