when i ordered my new converter the business owner told me it might be slightly lower stall than advertised.what factors affect the advertised stall once the converter is installed in the vehicle? i've heard vehicle weight and torque output from the engine affect the stall speed.anything else? if i wanted to increase my stall speed by 100-150 rpm could i do it by swapping different engine components such as the intake? from what i understand more weight=more stall, more torque=more stall.is that right? thanks for your valued input.

More torque input=more stall speed. More weight with the same power=slightly more stall speed. There are some internal tricks you can do to the feed circuit to up the stall speed, but I would not do it for a street-driven car.
