: Anyone going to Atco this weekend?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but they're having the PRO HOT ROD & MUSCLE CAR NATL'S, cars running from 6 to 14 secs. Never been to this one but it sounds pretty good. Brian? Onebad? Anyone else?
Unfortunately, I won't be driving the '66 because I'm chasing down a problem with the cooling system. It doesn't seem to be overheating (don't have a temp gauge installed yet) but it's pushing coolant out the overflow. I changed the cap and it's still doing it. I suspect it might be a head gasket and I'm checking for CO2 in the coolant with a neat little tester. I hope it's that simple.
Anyway, I think we're going Saturday and I'd love to meet some TC'ers. I'm buying the first round graemlins/beers.gif

I keep telling myself I got to start going to these events. I'm still chasing down an oil leak on mine and I overheated my new engine, 240 degrees before I could shut it down. Hope I didn't cook the thing! Hey SS, we need to get together sometime, maybe in Sam's parking lot.

This will be the 1st time to the track for me this season. I just got done college (39 yrs old - about time huh?) and I need to see some racin'! We'll be there when the gates open (Saturday most likely, but maybe Sunday). Like I said, I'm buying the first round (if not more). For those racing, you get your first round when you get eliminated. Kind of like a consolation prize :D If anyone wants to meet up there, let me know.

I won't have my car there either unfortunately, but I'd like to meet as many people from this board as I can. Since the sig lines aren't automatic anymore, I'd like to see some names attached to these responses too, unless you guys are trying to remain anonymous (don't worry, I have made a few bucks in the past by serving subpoenas, but not this weekend) :D
C'mon guys, who else is going? I hate to party alone!

BTW Redneck, is there anything worthwhile going on at Sam's? I have friends that are willing to cruise, especially a buddy that has a BB 4spd '68 RS/SS Camaro that doesn't get out enough. 'Round here most guys think it's cool to meet at the Hooters on Street Rd. I don't get it, their food isn't that good! ;) Kirk.

Brian, I'm not sure how much it is to get in, but I've never been to anything at Atco that cost more than $20 spectator admission. (If I get ambitious, that could include lunch since I love to cook for a crowd, but no promises yet...) I'll call tomorrow anyway to check. Here's the link that describes the event (sorry, I didn't make it a pdf. I hate those things!) Kirk.

Kboorman, I mentioned Sam's only because SSchevy400 lives real close to that Deli and so do I. Anyway, when I get my car running better I drop you a line and see about getting together at Hooter's. I really don't care if the food is bad ;) !
