I just bought a bunch of bushings made by these guys. between the boxes I have, a few say made in india, a few say made in mexico, and one says made in USA. I guess I always thought all this stuff was made in USA hence the high prices!! Or is it just simple stuff like bushings they produce overseas? I bought the "professional grade" FWIW.

Jeremy its real hard to keep tract of what these companies do any more. I think Dana/Spicer was bought out a while back. I lucked out and got all USA stuff when I ordered a year ago. I tried to call their tech support and its a 1.95 a minute to see if they had a fix for the blue boots on their tie rods....No such luck......If you've made many calls for parts .....How many people have you had answer the phone worthy of 1.95 a minute.....I've spent hours on the phone with folks from this site who know whats going on and was never charged a penny.....Things are changing

Where did you buy them from? I just bought some spicer proffesional grade front LCA bushings for about $8-9 a pop @ www.rockauto.com. Not bad.

Well these bushings weren't too expensive, and I did order through rock auto. All my steering linkage stuff is Spicer, I've had most of it awhile now except the bushings I just got in. I never thought to check the boxes to see where the other stuff was made.
On another note, I did order twice as many upper control arm bushings as I needed, seems I didn't notice there are 2 in a box!!
BTW if you order a lot of stuff through rock auto, just do a google search for "rock auto discount code" and you can find several codes for a 5% discount. I used it on my last order and saved $11. Had I ordered the correct amount of CA bushings I'd be ahead about $22!!

The quality of the product has little to do with where it was produced... It has more to do with the QA/QC the company does... When companies ship production overseas to save money, they often save more by not checking the quality as often... I guess once they start being cheap, it just never ends...

I'm pretty sure their hard-parts (ball-joints, steering linkage, etc.) are USA made, but their soft parts (bushings, boots, etc) may be sourced from somewhere else.

Well, I guess if that's as "good as I can get" then I won't complain too much.
So much for QC, one box I bought had 2 different bushings in it!
