Could someone please help me with my block casting number? I can't find my number on any casting # lists. I have 14015448. I found 443 ('87-'90) and 445 ('78-'90) but nothing on 448. Thanks for any help you can give me.

You sure that 8 isnt a 3? They can look pretty similar, especially with paint. I assume you looked at www.mortec.com. This is what I found. :beers:

14015443...454.......87-90...2 or 4-bolt, Mark IV, Truck, Motorhome

It's gotta be a 3 on the end, gm didn't have a 14015448 casting.

Thanks, that's what I'm begining to believe, also. It sure looked like a 8 and I even had my son (with younger eyes) check it. It is a very poor set of numbers, so it must be a 3.
