I am trying to figure out if I have the right washer motor. The outlets seem bigger for the hoses, but the gm parts dont have photos and I have searched (mostly wiring)

The old one is correct for 69-72 dont know about a 68. Whats wrong with your old one? You can get it rebuilt. Whats with the hole in your left sock:D

Is the new one also a GM where you can compare casing numbers? If not then it will probably work, but is more than likely a foreign unit. If you keep this one you may need to mod-adapt the hose connections.

I am poor!!!! The old one just clicks and spits (once) when i go to use washer fluid. I need it done for safety as I bought the car in the US and we have to safety it here in Ontario Canada...

I was just wondering if these are both "recessed" washer pumps. Its made in USA and is part # 22071780

The old one 4918070 3 if that means anything so far its all I could find.

Take the washer pump apart and rebuild it. You can get the parts to do that.

It sounds like the motor works just not the squirters. Get a washer rebuild kit. Easy to do and cheap. Pete

That would be easy if I didnt have to safety it to get it plated and insured before snow (dont want to drive in the salt).... Need this done ASAP have all winter for mods :D

Plus the original motor is gone so no history here

If i remember correctly doesnt it make a difference on the wipers? Hidden wipers that go below the hood molding or std? They have two,one is for hidden wipers!!

If your getting something I would say the motor if almost fine.

Take your hoses off the motor and blow AIR through your squirters...make sure the squirters are clear. If a piece of dirt gets in them it can float around in the lines until you use your pump again...when you use your pump it flows to the squirter and clogs it...

could also be a clog in your pickup hose in the washer bottle...
