My stamped rockers are looking a little tired. New stamped ones from Crane are 130.00 in Summit.
For another 20.00 I can get the CC roller tip jobs. They look a little beefier, and the are 1.72 vs 1.7 for everything else.

Any gains to speak of w/these?

Thanks
Vince

Its hard to say how much improvement, but I'd think there would be some. Stock rocker ratio can be off quite a bit. I'd go with the roller tips.

I have a set of the 1411s on the 454 in my 74 Caprice convertible.... have used the same series in lots of motors since they were in the developmant process.

They are so much better than rockers stamped out of rubber that it isn't even funny. I will never go back to sheet metal flexible random-ratio rockers again.

You will not find any ET or mph gain with these. You're just installing a beefier rocker.BTW,stamped steel long slots for a BBC are $50 or so over at www.competitionproducts.com (http://www.competitionproducts.com) and you might find the roller tips are cheaper there too.
