What is the correct color for rear coil springs on a '68 Chevelle? Thanks!

I'm not positively sure about that, but the ones under Mr Rose's & my car are painted black.:D I'll have to waller around under Dave Dodd's car if he comes to CB this year & check his out. I pulled some original front springs out of a '67 GTO 2 weeks ago, and they were not painted (rear springs had already been replaced). I'd say you could go with black or natural steel.:yes: JMO
