Has anyone used one on these cams in a 454 engine and also do anyone have any sound bites of one running. Also I am thinking about a voodoo 268. Do anyone know how they perform. All cams are flat hydraulic lifter.
Thanks

I had a 4545 with a Special Purpose Lunati....2310/241/.525/110. Sounded great and made good power (Butt dyno). ran 12.50 with a 8.5-1 454 and 3.73s with an M20.

those cam are sold by TRW tp-169 you can buy this cams a PAW

I have put a TP169 in a 396 back in the early 90's and it ran really well. Oval port heads crooked Torker intake and a 780 dp with a T10 and 4.56 in a 66 El Camino and it ran 8.20s on M&H's in the 1/8th on a crappy track.

If I remember right, it was .563 on a 110 cL and dont remember the @ .050 but I think it was mid 230...I still have the box end in my tool box. I liked the way it sounded and ran....

Ran the 230-230 .544-.544 in a 396 in a 3600 pound street car back in the later 90s.3.73 gear.Ran 13.01 at Memphis Motorsports park.If i knew then what i have learned from team chevelle members on here,it possibly could have gone mid to low 12s.It hit hard in the 396 but in a 454 i'm sure it will have a much smoother idle.

i've been running the 0025 cam,238*/248*,.540/.540 cam for 18 years now and have been happy with it but should have bumped the comp. up to 10:1 to really wake up the bottom-end up,but.... after 3500,hang-on! will work for you. really idles like LS-6.

We ran the Bracket Master 2 00026 (232 239 .549 .558 110) in a std bore 454 with some closed chamber 396 heads with big valves and it ran great. The idle was loapy and it pulled very well. It had no problem smoking the tires from a 30mph roll and pulled great to 5500 or so. We spent probably 5 or 600 on that cheap re-build and it ran outstanding for what it was. I would have no problem recommending that cam.
