Runs and drives good, engine (402 out of 70 SS 396 Chevelle) has less than 500 miles and has $3500 in it to include forged pistons and forged crank with ARP bolts, 750 Holley and high flow fuel pump, electric fan, mini starter, headers...

350 turbo auto trans with Trans Go shift kit, 3000 stall, 12 bolt rear with posi trac, front and rear sway bar, tubular rear control arms, line lock...

Floor pans and trunk pans are original and solid, has new power front disc brakes and new rear drum brakes, new door panels/carpet/head liner, fairly new 2.5 mandrel bent dual exhaust...

Original southern NC car, original bucket seat car, was orignally an A/C car but HVAC has been removed and a a block off plate bolted on. Not tubbed or had any extensive mods done on body or frame.

Nice butt kickin' Bu. I see it needs some TLC on the interior, but it looks sharp. depending on how nice it looks in person (pictures lie) 10k - 14k

Looks great. Add some wheel opening mouldings (in my opinion, they make the car look more finished). Don't give it away, they're too hard to replace!

Dawg, why you selling it? I thought you got your Buick, so now you were set. IMHO, ask $15,000 and take the best offer close to that.

Ya I did, but it looks like I'll be moving to a new location soon as soon as military gives me my orders (don't know when that will be) so I've decided to make shed of a vehicle, plus I have a restored 69 Nova back in Indy I want to do some upgrades to.

Otherwise if space permitted I'd hang onto it.

Real nice looking car, Know how much body filler is hiding under the paint?

The removal of the A/C will probably hurt the sale a little.

My GUESS - It should bring around $8,500.00

Bad time to be selling right now.

Bad time to be selling right now.

Why? is it because of christmas coming up soon or something?

Nice car Dawg.
In this part of the country (northern new england) any car with solid floors, pans and frame will get a lot of interest. Maybe more so than in N.C.
I agree with Macs69 on the wheel well moldings. I was thinking it the second I saw your pictures, then realized he mentioned the same thing right below in his reply. For $120 or so and 1 1/2 hours time to install, they do quite a bit for appeal.
Now to offer another guess on value.....I'd say around 10,500 to 13,000 depending on the details needed to finish it, this time of year (like Dean said) and the potential for a buyer from the rust belt to have higher appreciation for it. Just a suggestion, maybe advertise it on Craigslist in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Guys I know check the southern states listings, why not make it easier and list it in the northern states for them - while making clear where the car is located. Might increase your market a bit. Good luck.

Thanks, I have thought of that but didn't think anyone would really want to travel that far to inspect. I guess it can't hurt?

if anyone gives you 15K run, don't walk to the nearest bank and deposit that money.

I would say 10K at the top end.

THe interior is killing it Dawg. I'm not sure you want to spend any more money on the car, but a nice interior adds to the nice outside and means more money to be made. BUT, more money spent..Good luck man !!

Yeah I know the interior isn't helping the value. No I already have too much invested that I already expect to lose my ass on, plus I don't feel dumping another $400 into it is going to maybe add $100 (if that) in the eyes of a buyer.

Dawg, how much have you sunk into the car since obtaining it?
