: Hello to all!
66_396_4me Nov 11th, 07, 2:15 AM Let me introduce myself, the name is Hernan. Been looking for site for info and someone asked me to check you guys out. After playing with submarines for 24 years between active and reserves (U.S. Navy), now i have time to play with my "toys". Have a 66 Malibu to which i am cloning to an SS and a 67 Nova. I am encountering many new things when it comes to "upgrading" engines. Hopefully, i can get some help from you guys. Joining the club seems to be the most beneficial for anyone, so i shall do so soon. In the mean time, TY for any support. :waving:

floyd66 Nov 21st, 07, 1:05 AM Hi
tell us more about the 66 Chevelle. What are your plans?
66_396_4me Nov 22nd, 07, 11:51 PM Well Tom, for now, i believe what we are going to do is "soup" up the 402 i just bought for it (new rebuilt, but stock) and we think we are going with a Lunati 268 combo, Crane gold rocker arms, push rods, springs, headers, HEI, Ignition box, Carburation (Over 700 cfm Holley double pumper) and change gears to 373 posi. Deciding if doing a 3 or 5 angle job and some porting on the heads. As money arises (if it does:D) planning to work on the suspension next, especially the rear, (U/L rear control arms, etc.) Body is in very good shape so not much there, except a bit of touch up here and there, interior i would like to change because it has this "burlap" feeling material two tone (greenish-blue/gray). :clonk:
