is there any way to put Z-28 heads on a '66 Malibu with a 283???

What year Z28, and what are the head casting numbers?

I'm not real sure. I'm pretty new to engines b/c I'm still kinda young. And its not my car, its a friend's. i'll try to find out, though

If the Z-28 heads have 2.02" diameter intake valves they will not fit on a 283. The valve will hit the cylinder wall.
