O.K. guy`s I got a question, Our 71 malibu has a stock 350 with the 700r4 trans. Performer intake 600 Eldobrock carb Comp cam cs268h-10 cam(454 lift)106 centerline 110 lobe separation. We are on a tight budget!! would there be any benefit with 88 305 truck heads other than compression? We used to use thes on a 3/8 round track with good results(dirt) Our money is goin into the rear now with 355 posi in the 10 bolt. Not racin jus wanna play on the street an occasional strip run! We did that on our circle track car to. Worked well. Especialy when they put restrictior plates on us. I would want to know the flow of both heads and what your compression would end up being before I put it on a street car. Be nice if you could find some cheap used Vortecs.

you wouldn't be able to use your current performer intake with those 88 heads.

I`m in Maryland, Nothin cheap around here anymore! Had goodluck with the 305`s with 515 lift cam in my street stock a few year`s back. an no problem with the intake`s, 500 Holley 2bbl. Jeff
