I'm looking to buy one within the next week but cant decide which ones a better kit for the buck... The NX kit is a little bit cheaper and I hear a lot of good things about it but I also hear good stuff about the cheater. Is there any pros and cons about either kit? Is one more "complete" than the other? I hear NX rates their stuff by RWHP while NOS rates at the flywheel? I dont plan on going over a 200 shot so either kit would be able to handle my needs. Any experience with either kits? What would ya go with?
Thanks

I definetly like the NX stuff better, but one thing to consider is NX is set up in 50 hp increments, whereas NOS is 25hp, might gve you a little more fine tuning if you are looking for a paticular et or goal. The NX tech support is much better than NOS.

I'm a NOS guy by far... after using a few brands of kits over the years. IMO much better plate systems and solinoids. I had way too many problems with the old plate NX kits I used years ago... although maybe those issues have been addressed since. I have had 3 cheater systems on numerous combos and always have been pretty happy with em. Only time I was happier was when I had a big shot kits instead LOL. Regardless you look at Pro Mods or pretty much any race class that runs 9's and faster and you will see more NOS Kits then any other. That in itself IMO tells you something. But that is my just my .02 worth.

I have been running the NX Gemini twip late system and have been very pleased with the results. On the chasis dyno I increased 157 hp on a 150 shot. Just add the extra safety devices no mattter what you choose. Good luck...
