So I'm surfing around, looking at twin turbo kits and I come across this:

I never thought about mounting the turbos like this!
I'm still astounded picturing going through a puddle, or driving in the rain. It just seems there are so many things that could go so wrong.

yeah sts has a kit for 4th gen camaros that mount the turbos in the back. they said it worked well. but remember the closer the turbo to the engine more power and less spool time.

The STS turbo kit has been proven to make good power but it has its flaws. Such as slower spool time and less power as mentioned above but also issues with turbos burning up because of failed oil pumps and htings of that nature. Not to mention the pain of all that plumbing under the car. That being said however, I believe it was the November issue of hot rod that had a 63 tempest with a rear mount turbo setup that was nicely done and had the car going 9s. Not to mention the tempest was a complete sleeper which is cool.
