i just installed a new one piece floor in a 1969 chevelle,i need to know the position of the standard shift hump in a bench seat car.any help would be appreciated.

The easiest way to do this is........

Cut a hole out that will accomidate the Shifter hooked up to the Tranny.

The Humps are contoured and will fit into place on the Floor.

With the shifter installed, position the hump on the floor and center it as you shift through the gears leaving equal gap bewteen up/down and left/right.

It will just fall into place.

Trace the outline on the floor, and trim leaving a 1/4" flange or so.


The correct way to attach is weld, (where a flange would be unessesary) I simply caulked and riveted.
