I am setting up the fuel system for my 468 that will be dropped into my '67. The car will be in the high 10 low 11 sec range. I have stock tank with 3/8 sending unit, 3/8 hard line, Comp 140 pump, and 4150 HP 950 cfm. The combination is proven and has been used with this engine combo already, but what I don't know is...

Will the SOCK on my sending unit hurt the performance of my Mallory Comp 140 pump.

A NEW sock won't be restrictive, but I wouldn't run an old one.
