nitrofox Dec 12th, 04, 9:21 AM Anyone out there have a good cam/intake combo for my 65 malibu 427? I was thinking about an xe268 or xe274 with a performer rpm. Is there enough hood clearance or do I need a torker? I'd like a noticable idle,it's mostly street driven,and has power brakes. What is this voodo line? 427 9.5:1 802 closed chamber heads 750 edelbrock carb M-20 muncie 3.55 rear thanks,Jeff UDHarold Dec 12th, 04, 10:50 AM Jeff, If you want to be sure about the power brakes, I'd use the VooDoo 262, which is 262/268 at the seat, 219/227 at .050, .530/.542 valve lift, and 112 LSA. The VooDoo 268 is 268/276 at the seat, 227/233 at .050, .542/.554 valve lift, and 110 LSA, which has a little less vacuum. The VooDoo 268 is a slightly bigger cam than my old UD 280/288H, which we made mainly on 112s. UDHarold BillsCamino Dec 12th, 04, 10:57 AM Harold, When is a good time to contact you by phone? I really don't consider myself a "bozo". :rolleyes: For the record, I have tried at contact Harold at his extension at Lunati numerous times. As Harold mentioned above, he's too busy most times to answer the phone. And if you must know, I have a technical question about one of his cams that I'm presently running.
