A friend of mine has a turbo'd 331 93 f*rd mustang GT. He got it up to the track for the first time and did pretty darn well, for 7 psi..
I am kinda confused about one thing though, and the only thing I can come up with is that his car is a stick and its possible that the shifts might take a bit longer, but this is debateable..
He ran 11.54 @ 122.?? w/ a 96mph 1/8 mi and a 1.74 60' (28*11.5 MT ET Streets).
Last time I had my car up at the track and I didn't get there and find out something was wrong with the car, I pulled an 11.81 @ 116.03 w/ a 1.825 60' and 93mph 1/8 mi.
I am having trouble reconciling his ET with his 60' and mph.
Doesn't it seem like the ET should be alot faster, for 122mph and a 1.74 60'?
I have been playing this out in my head and the only thing I can add up is the shifting, but I have watched his video a few times and the shifts sound dead on fast.
Anyone have any idea why the ET wasn't quicker?
Sorry for posting this in the chevelle's forum, but I didn't know where else to go, and I am I guess trying to compare the ET/MPH with my car, where a .270 ET difference but with a 6mph difference.
Again, if this needs to be moved or deleted, ok, I was just curious. I was dead set to hit the track again this week with my retweaked governor and new converter that appears to slip a little bit less than the old one (but still has too much stall I think-- which I will be a little dissapointed with because the R&R of the converter took me about 15 hours.. heh..) but I found out I had a dragging rear disc and destroyed rear brake caliper, and the car is going nowhere right now until I can get that solved.

sorry for the book here..
